Tuning into the happiness and joy of others can help you cultivate happiness and joy in yourself. One way you can tune into and give happiness and joy to another is to reach out to them.

Ask yourself today, “how can I be a friend to someone today?” During this time of “sheltering in place and staying at home”, one way to be a friend and spread some joy is connection. Be a friend to someone today. Help them see by your action that they are loved. Reach out to someone for no specific reason other than just checking in to see how they are doing.Are you willing to spread that kind of joy today and this weekend?


My Challenge to You:

Call several friends or family members and be fully present with them. Make the conversation all about them. Ask how they are doing and JUST LISTEN. Listen fully to them with your whole mind, heart and being. Appreciate them for who they are, tell them what they mean to you and that you are grateful for their presence in your life.YOU WILL MAKE THEIR DAY!! In the process, YOU WILL MAKE YOUR DAY TOO!! Pick up the phone and start dialing 😊!!

This kindness costs you nothing, but it will mean everything to them. Do not underestimate that this a moment of your kindness. It has the power to change lives I ways you may never know. In the process, your life will be changed.
